About Me

I love to teach.  I love everything about teaching because it allows me to take part in building our future.  Teaching without a passion for it sounds dreadful, and I am thankful that the reason I leave my own two sons during the day, is to perpetuate a love of learning in others and to constantly be a learner myself. 

In 2001, I accepted my first position as a classroom teacher in the fifth grade.  I taught fifth grade until 2012!

Now, I am starting a new "book" in my own teaching series,  Middle School Math for boys...I am thrilled to face new challenges and look forward to learning so much in the coming year.  Stay tuned...
